Hey all!!! Billutan here! =D Billutan wanna share something with y'all. Nasi Kandar!!! What is Nasi Kandar? Billutan is not that sure about Nasi Kandar history, but it originated from Penang.
Billutan never liked Nasi Kandar because of the name. Kandar, it doesn't sound appetizing. But, a few days ago, Billutan Momma wanted to try this so called very famous Nasi Kandar. It's called Mohd Yaseen Nasi Kandar. It's from Penang, of course.
Billutan wasn't eager to go there. As Billutan said earlier, Nasi Kandar doesn't sound appetizing.
This is the shop. It's on the same row as Chow Kit Market. Near to Honda showroom and is somehow hidden behind a bus stand as shown in the picture. The shop looks small but it actually acquired 2 shoplots and it goes way back behind.
Alright, enough on the non-edible subject, lets get to the food!
Awh! Billutan wanted to bring along Billutan's brothers along, but they were just too lazy to come out from their chairs playing Facebook. How incredible! -.-
This is Billutan's Nasi Kandar. That black thing is part of a chicken. There's okra or Lady's finger and cucumber. That black chicken is "actually" mixed in soy sauce and curry gravy, as tasted by Billutan. Not too sure about the curry part, but it sure has a taste of curry.
It's spicy too!! harrghh!! so hot!!! XD
More Nasi Kandar. This one has got fish roe added.
And another one! This one has got meat and that orange coated thingy is a fried chicken.
Billutan needed this!! Very very important for those tongues that cant stand spicy stuffs. This is Barley Ice, no sugar added. Haaaa.... So cooling~ Billutan ordered 2 glasses of Barley Ice. The food was dang spicy!
And here, Billutan finished his food. It looks like after a surgery or something. Finger smothered in hot spicy gravy =S Billutan also notice that blood was rushing on Billutan's palm! Oh my...
Oh! Before Billutan forget! This is one devil green chilly. It is as spicy as hell!!! Billutan didn't dare to even touch this chilly. Look at it, so evil... Just waiting to sting ur taste buds. 2 glasses of Barley Ice won't be enough, thats for sure XD
Well, Nasi Kandar turned out fine after all! After that Nasi Kandar meal, Billutan had another Nasi Kandar for brunch in Penang itself! XD
Anyway, Billutan hope next time Billutan's brothers will come along. Eating all these and getting fat alone is no fun XD
