Line Dance

Hey all!!! =D Billutan here! =D How are you guys and gals?

Recently, my buddies and I volunteered to perform a Line Dance show organized by the students council. This was to celebrate the American Independence day dated July 4th, 1776.

It was fun! We only had 2 days of training. So everything was in a rush. We managed to get and perfect 2 line dances within that 2 day period. At first it was really tough.

The first day, we gathered, about 12 to 15 of us, in a freezing cold room, faced with 2 laptops playing line dancing tutorial videos on Youtube. Nothing went in. None of us had any dancing background. Well, maybe one or two of us had, but wasn't too confident enough too admit.

It was an entirely new experience for us. But our leader was good! She kept encouraging us to try, and in the end, we did. We tried and tried and tried. And we tripped and imbalanced and unstable ourselves, knocking over each other XD But we just move on.

5,6,7,8....1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.... those numbers didn't stopped sounding, until break time. Phew... the training was hard. It was like an army regime training O.O Nah, I'm kidding. It was tiring but fun. Oh! By the way, for those who doesn't know what a line dance is, it's a dance in which a group of people line up in rows and perform in synchronize with a repeated sequence of steps.

It is something like a "Pocho Pocho dance". It's similar, but with line dance, we can dance to any song and our steps follow the beat accordingly.

On the day of performance, 4th of July, we were quite but not verbally worried. Out of the 12 to 15 of us that appeared during the first day of training, slightly more than half came. There was no one to blame, because those that couldn't make it had valid reasons to be absent.

Anyway, Billutan would like to thank those that volunteered on the celebration day itself to perform along with us. It couldnt have been merrier without you guys =D

We did Achy Breaky Heart and Macarena. Most of us were surprised! Macarena?! That's Spanish! XD Then again, America is full of different cultures =D Macarena was the best! Everyone was jumping and dancing around in a contemporising manner. It was awesome and a very good exercise. And we get to shake our booty XD WaHahahaHahAhAH XD

So, yeah, line dancing got Billutan's adrenaline rushed. HEY MACARENA!!! AIIIIIKKKKEEEE!!!! XD

"Billutan love dancing =D"
